My name is Durango and even though I look pretty serious and tough in my pictures, my foster momma Miss Peggy, says I am just the sweetest Chiweenie boy ever. I was a little intimidated by the photography shoot and so I decided I would give my serious look for everyone. You see I am just a 6 month old boy that weighs just 6 pounds and probably going to be no bigger than 10 pounds when I am a year old. I am really a cuddly guy when I get to know you and very loving toward people and Other dogs. I am crate trained but not a guy who can be crated for 8 hours without an accident. I am not totally housebroken but my foster mom Miss Peggy said we are Catching on fast. I have not been in the foster home for long My former momma moved to Arizona and left me and three other dogs behind with a woman who really Couldn’t afford to feed and vet 4 extra dogs every year. So she asked a responsible rescue lady to help find us all new homes. I am learning all sorts of new manners and Also what a leash walk is all about. I need a quiet house and could be around older children that are very respectful. I am mixed with Chihuahua and Dachshund and so I will be A little guy with a longer body than most Chihuahuas.
